SUMMARY of Henry v. Ryan (United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois)
Dana Henery received a subpoena to give samples of saliva to the DuPage County Sheriffs Department. His public defender filed a motion to squash the subpoena and was denied by the circuit court. Henery refused to supply the samples and was placed on suicide watch. He later submitted to the sampling, gave the sample to a contracted medical work and continued to be placed on suicide watch.
